Can anyone give me information regarding the 2.8 Ultima V6.

 

Does this have the same spec as a Ghia?

 

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

The ULTIMA was so called because it was the Ultimate Galaxy :lol: it has a higher spec than the Ghia as does the Ghia X

It was only available in 1997, is/was it any good ? not sure it had all the same bits as the Ghia and the Ghia had a couple of bits it didnt! (roof rails) the following year 98 they released the Si, again a short lived model! the only problems I can foresee with such a model is the condition of the interior, replaceing or repairing the seats and trim could be hard! being a limited edition could mean a short run of replacement trim parts :lol: the same could be said of the standard alloys? although there was a set of Ultima rims up for grabs a couple of weeks back on Ebay :o I take it you've see it? if so what did you think of it? after all it's that that counts :D

as soon as there is a model change trim is hard to get I worked at the Daventry parts centre and fords often used to change complete seat trims under warranty cos there wernt replacement items left and would pay security guards to oversee trim scrapping.
