paulmpaciorek Posted March 31, 2005 Report Posted March 31, 2005 Hi all Our lass got er new mota tday.2000 X Bora SE TDI Got a brand new spare key with it remote type ...the remote opens and closes the car but when you start the car with it it,it stops straight away and the display comes up "Vehicle Imobilised".How do I code the key for the imobiliser.Any help much appreciated. Went to my helpful VW dealer ???today to ask for the secret key number required to enable our lasses spare key with the imobiliser ,as described on the Ross-tech site.The dude said to me "you wont be able to do that as you need a diagnostic machine to do it".Never fear old man ,I said,I have one of those (well Vag-Com).He then told me it was all done on line now with the car plugged in online so they would do it for half an hour labour charge Quote
