Bubbles Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 Personally, I didn't find it too hard to fit - but a few words of caution (if I'm stating the obvious or insulting your technical abilities, please forgive me). You need to have a reasonable set of spanners/sockets as you will want to bolt the bar up tightYou also need 2 spanners (or similar) big enough to fit the tow ball boltsA multi meter is invaluleble for determining the rear lights/wiring etc MAIN PROBLEM - be careful taking the bumper off, the tags that attatch the bumper to the body (through which you srew it to the car) are delicate and will break easily - once knackered, this, I'm sure will cost a lot of money as it may be that you will have to get a replacement bumper if you snap them all off (four hand are better than two at this point) I drilled a new hole for the leads to enter the body - There may be one provided (but I couldn't find it - Other cars I have fitted have these already provided). In short - if you are intending using the motorists tool kit that your auntie Mavis bought you for Christmas when you were 17 - forget it If you dont know what a multi meter is - forget itIf Quote
