Restoring Service Warning

Hi Guys, just bought a 1998 2.3 ghia x auto, the non ford dealer serviced the car before I got it, but the service warning is showing in02, How do I reset this, I know its something to do with the trip reset and ignition key, but I do not know the procedure(thing i spelt that right) Grateful for all help received

We could tell you BUT we would taking food from the mouths of the children of the people on Ebay that charge you for this info! so what ever happens do not hold in the trip reset button and turn on the ignition but dont start the engine! as this could cause these children to go hungry over easter :lol:

and at no time look at page 20 of the users handbook in your glovebox if you have one, hand book that is not glove box! :unsure:

and finally DO NOT use the search button on this forum as you could find all the answers you need without having to post your questions :blink:

It's quite funny to see what the Yanks will buy on Ebay! there was a guy on the Jeeep NG that had an item listed as the ROOT OF ALL EVIL :lol: it was a root from a tree in his garden that had surfaced in the pathway to his front door, due to the amount of people that tripped over it or stubbed their toe's on it :P he christened it the ROOT OF ALL EVIL :huh: it did sell and IIRC buyer asked for it to be dug and burnt as she said it was causeway for the devil to cause mayhem and pain in this world :D Aericans hey! dont you just love em?
