I have noticed the steering of my vr6 gives a little kick to the left when re-applying the accelerator after slowing down or braking. This is usually only noticeable when driving in a straight line on the motorway. Similarly, when taking my foot off the accelerator the steering gives a little kick to the other side. Is this anything to do with

1. the sheer power of the mighty 2.8?

2. it being a the transverseengine?

3. wheel alignment/tracking problem?

Many thanks

Grandad

it's called "torque Steer" the manafactures spend fortunes trying to stop this happening but they have left a little bit in so you boys with money to burn (vr6 owners) dont forget how much fuel your burning. lol

Nah torque steers not the reminder! it's the little white lines and threads of fabric that appear around the tyres that remind you of the cost of all that BHP

my 130 T5 has ASR, bloody annoying it is as well! mid wet greasy round about and just you get the power slide started and it cuts in an ruins your fun  luckily there is an OFF button on the dash
