Galaxy Heater Matrix

Hi i am new to this web site and was wondering if can help me or advise me please,i own a Ford Galaxy 1.9 tdi ghia my problem is my heater matrix has gone and has leaked all its water all over my carpet,i was wondering if any one could advise me were i can get another matrix.If not could any one tell me if there is anything i can fix the little hole in my original one,i have removed my dash and heater matrix and the hole is a little pin hole.Many Thanks For Any Advise Adrian (kwakzx62003)

Find a good blacksmith - start off by contacting your nearest riding stables or good old Yellow Pages. You appear to have done the hardest bit already - removing the dash - then take the matrix to the smithie who should be able to repair it for you.

go to your local scrapyard,if you can get the matrix still in its housing and replace the whole thing.do a search on heater matrix it was covered in an earlier post.

having changed mine myself.I definately advise you to get one in its case,it makes the job so much easier,i did it with only partial dash out on a mk1 galaxy,is yours a mk1 or 2.like my perfect vehicle says do a search on heater matrix,my old posts should come up.
