Sat Nav And Temperature

Hi everybody, i wonder if anyone can shed some light on a problem I have encountered with my sat nav. I have just taken delivery (2 months ago) of a new Galaxy with factory fitted Sat Nav and have been very pleased with its performance, however over the last few days, when attempting to input data first thing in the morning I have been unable to get the computer cursor to move one way or the other by means of the right control knob. however these have been very cold mornings and later on in the day full functionality has been restored. The temperature readings in the car have been around 4.0 degrees centigrade. Has anyone got any info about this problem.

 

Breaking News

Today has been a fine warm day and the Sat Nav has been playing up all day. so it is nothing to do with the temperature. Into the garage it goes, but I have my doubts about what will happen , as the local ford dealer has told me that they have never seen a Sat Nav system except in a brochure.
