Was out the other day doing some shopping and left car parked up for hour or so, came back and turned engine over, and engine check light stayed on.

So stopped engine, and tried again, this time would not even turn over and both check light and epc lght were on. Tried this a few times, and after about 7 attemps car finally started but check light stayed on.

Got car home, and disconnected battery, left it for ten minutes or so, and then reconnected and tried again.

Engine lights all off now, and car starts first time with no incident.

Has anyone come across this before, or an offer some suggestions as to what to check.

Car is a 2001 Galaxy 2.8

Thanks in advance

possible not the car at fault, were you near a radio mast, fire station or police station, we have a area in our town that has all three and its not unheard of to have to tow the vehicle out of the area and then try the car again with the right results . just a thought <_<
