smoggie Posted March 3, 2005 Report Posted March 3, 2005 Posted a query a while ago http://www.fordgalaxy.org.uk/ford/index.ph...c=3775&hl=cubby Having got the galaxy and been able to check it out it seems that the cubby is *exactly* the right size for the old laptop I've got. So taking out the cubby in the middle of the dash - is it as simple as removing those 3 screws ? And if so whats underneath - space to somehow shoehorn the laptop in ? CheersSmoggie Quote
Ivor_E_Tower Posted March 3, 2005 Report Posted March 3, 2005 Yes it comes out with just 4 (IIRC) screws. Underneath is a cut-away plastic bit with a sticky label and bar-code to help the bods at the factory recognise which part it is (!), and under that, a large void from what I could tell when I removed my cubby to repair its lid mechanism.
