Guest HB4 Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 My new Alhambra has the basic cassette deck fitted but does have the relevant settings for a CD player if attached. So, are they easy to fit, and do I have to be careful re compatability? Cheers Quote
Guest MATT Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 i would recommend a trip to halfords, and look out for someone who knows what their doing! i had a cd changer fitted to mine, cost Quote
Guest vr6galaxy Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 Check to see if the bus cable is in place? look up on top of the rear wheel arch behind the rear quarter panel, in where the jack is stored if it's there then all you need is the auto changer and fitting kit, these appear on Ebay every so often and I have a link to an Ebay shop that usually has them in stock or search through the posts on the topic as there have been loads of them with links to online shops that sell CD changers for OE head units Quote
Ogben Schmutzel Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 Hope you don't mind me cutting in but have the same requirement as HB4. I understand that the original SEAT kit is about Quote
Guest vr6galaxy Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 If the plug you have found is a flat two pin plug and you dont have curtesy lights fitted in the rear quarter panels ? then it is the lighting cable or even the rear speaker cable? the CD bus cable is a double layered twelve pin plug according to my diagrams? others have found the cable to be wrapped in with the loom where it runs over the top of the wheel arch Quote
