VeeDub Nutter Posted March 1, 2005 Report Posted March 1, 2005 Hi there.I've seen recently on eBay someone selling Eibach lowering springs for Sharn / Galaxy etc. Has anyone tried these, are they any good, is the ride acceptable ?Also, are they easy to fit? Quote
Guest vr6galaxy Posted March 1, 2005 Report Posted March 1, 2005 If your fairly well mechanically minded and have the right tools it's a fairly straight forward job! the hardest part is removeing the front struts due to the possabillity of the top mount nut being a bitch to remove :( how low do you want go? as there several options, the lower you go the higher the price if you do it properly! here is a good place with a few options venommotorsport.com they have severl kits from springs to sump scrapeing fully adjustable coil overs ;) Quote
VeeDub Nutter Posted March 1, 2005 Author Report Posted March 1, 2005 The ones advertised say 25-35mm, sounds subtle, and hopefully they'd stiffen up the ride.If i go for this is there anything else worth doing while the cars in bits? :( Quote
Guest vr6galaxy Posted March 1, 2005 Report Posted March 1, 2005 It would be worth your while changeing the anti roll bar links and bushes while your under there as the new set up will no dout lead to a little bit more of a brisker drive every so often :( Quote
