I just ordered a new contract 'phone as my Pay as you go is costing me an arm and a leg. Got a good deal (free) on an Orange SPV C500. Now, as luck would have it, Tom Tom Mobile 5 will be available from Spring 2005 and it just so happens to be compatible with this 'phone. Having coveted the Tom Tom Go solution for ages and decided I can't justify the price (to my Missus), this Mobile 5 looks like it might be the answer. Alas, no pricing info on the Tom Tom web site, as yet. And the 'phone takes Mini SD cards, which are readily available up to 1Gb, so should be able to get UK and French maps on there, plus PoP and still have enough room for 15 CDs worth of MP3s! Guest vr6galaxy Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 Just got hold of a Nokia 6600, after my short scirmish with a crap Sony Ericson K700i :ph34r: pile of crap that it was, replaced twice and both times it failed! funny how after you have bought the phone they tell about about the known problems with it :ph34r: so this time I went for a phone that has been around for a while and has been reliable through out it's life plus it's able to run the Tom Tom software :D Quote

I have tried the Tom Tom Go system and it's brilliant :( so easy to use, the touch scree how ever does get a bit grubby but you can get washable screen covers now Quote
