hi all

do the 6 seat models have the slots on the floor so that you can fit three 2nd row seats from a 7 seater in there ?

I know that on my Sharan Carat it came with only the 6 seats but all the slots are in the floor though. All I had to to was move the second row seat outward towards the doors and removed the armrests, then moved the left hand 3rd row seat forward to the 2nd row middle position.So that I now have a 2-3-1 set up and the dog lives in the space next to the 3rd row single seat.

Not got one myself but I have heard that some of the early model 6 seaters only have slots for 6 seats. Even if you cannot see the slots though it may be worth lifting the carpet to see if they are there.

If your 6 seats are Captains chairs you won't be able to fit 3 across the centre row as the armrests make the chairs wider. Seem to be plenty of standard seats on eBay recently though
