Nokia Handsfree Install

Can any of you guys help I am trying to install a Nokia HF kit to my Sharan , and I am looking for a location to install the "black box". I am wanting to know if there is any space behind the glove box if so how do you get access to there . Also how do you remove dash panel around the stereo and climate control panel.

Hi When they fitted my Nokia kit the "black " box was fitted just above the cassette unit. They aslo removed the CC unit as well - but it all went back in OK.

You only need to remove the radio, no dash trim, and there is plenty of room behind there and to the sides of it behind the switches. I have two kits in that area.

 

All you need to remove the radio is a couple of "U clips" which are available from most car accessory stores.

Mine too sits behind the radio, plenty of space back there, which is also handy for the phone suppression lead that plugs into the back of most Ford head units for muting the radio/CD etc when you receive or make a call.
