hope someone can answer this

Car galaxy N reg 2.0i DOHC 8 valve

I had an 02 sensor changed in december

I also had a misfire on no 4 spark plug that was not diagnosed until the end of January

could this cause the 02 sensor to clog up and not give a correct oxygen

reading to the ECU unit...

I have a start up problem with the car ..

It will idle for a few minutes and then start chugging

I also have heared that the purge valve has a modification that can be done to it

that stops it from purging when the engine is first started

does anyone one anything about this and how much this costs to have done

hope you can help me

regards ..mark

Misfires are bad news on modern engines - can cause unburnt petrol to do strange things to O2 sensor and catalyst.

Other problem of chugging may well be covered by various recent posts ref cleaning of various valves in inlet/EGR system.
