I have a start up problem with the car ..It will idle for a few minutes and then start chugging I also have heared that the purge valve has a modification that can be done to itthat stops it from purging when the engine is first started does anyone one anything about this and how much this costs to have done hope you can help meregards ..mark Quote
Ivor_E_Tower Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 Misfires are bad news on modern engines - can cause unburnt petrol to do strange things to O2 sensor and catalyst.Other problem of chugging may well be covered by various recent posts ref cleaning of various valves in inlet/EGR system.
