Check the plug leads are ok as well as the coil pack? when you changed the plugs did you use the correct tool to remove the leads or just pull on the cables?

Easiest way to check them is to spray a fine mist of water over them and run the engine in the dark! any loose sparks you see flying around is a bad sign!

the coil pack is prone to cracks around and inbetween the pillars the leads plug into, moisture gathers in these and causes short circuits and misfires! you can fix this! by drying out the coil pack in the oven :o and then resealing it with an epoxy resin

vr6- I have sprayed water around the leads and coil pak, this didn`t cause any light shows. Any more suggestions would be appreciated. I have ordered a lead from skpang so i should be able to use vag-com shortly.
