Just noticed that my front wipers are going slow and are stopping at the wrong part of the screen, turning the ignition on and off seems to cure it for a short time then they go funny again.

Anyone experienced this before, and whats the approx cost to repair / replace.

Thanks

Hi DFH4NP

The normal on th ewipers going slow is the corrosion that takes place in the pivot towers which each of the wiper arms passes through, this is easily cured by either slackening the wipers arms off the spindle and cleaning and lubricating or by using a penetration type of oil on the bottom end of teh shaft, the first option is the most effective although you will need to ensure the wipers are parked in the correct place and mark the position of the arms so you can correctly align them when refitting them.

Best of luck
