Guest hmeunues2000 Posted February 11, 2005 Report Posted February 11, 2005 HI I HAVE A FORD KA2 1996 MODEL ITS BEEN FIN FOR THE SIX MONTHS IVE HAD IT AND I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS, BUT LATELY! MY FUSE KEEPS BREAKING IN THE FUSE BOX WHICH MEANS I HAVE NO REAR BREAK LIGHT NO FROM MAIN HEADLIGHTS OR NO REVERSE LIGHT, OBVIOULSY IS EASY TO SEE WHAT PROBLEMS THIS CAUSES ME HA HATHE FUSE BREAKS EVERYTIME THE BREAK PEDAL IS PUSHED. HAS ANYBODY ELSE EXPERIENCED THIS TYPE OF PROBLEM OR HAVE A SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM THANKYOU REGARDS CHRIS H
Guest ianock Posted February 16, 2005 Report Posted February 16, 2005 Disconnect both rear lights,if fuse blows again then its a wiring/switch fault tbetween fusebox & lights.If fuse doesn't blow the fault 'short' is in one of the light clusters,connect one at a time to find which one it is.Its probably a bulb or fitment of bulb fault.
