Guest Rigsworth Blows Posted February 10, 2005 Report Posted February 10, 2005 I picked up my Galaxy yesterday and was very dissapointed with the sound quality (or lack of as the case is) with the CD/Radio player.Is it the unit (CD 6000 I think) or are the speakers gone?There is barely any bass and a lot of distortion.... Ivor_E_Tower Posted February 10, 2005 Report Posted February 10, 2005 Nothing wrong with the sound quality on mine - have you checked the bass and treble settings, and adjusted the balance/fader? Check each speaker is working in isolation using balance and fader, then alter the bass and treble to that speaker in isolation. If any speaker doesn't respond properly then it's probably blown. Bad news is that to upgrade main speakers, door card has to be removed :rolleyes: Quote
