Guest sharpy Posted February 2, 2005 Report Posted February 2, 2005 hi all i want to change my antifreeze i have a 2.0l petrol can someone tell me how much antifeeze i need in litres i have to put in i know 50/50 but want to know if i can what that is in litres also do i flush out the old then put in a little water then the antifreeze or antifreeze first then the water many thanks sharpy Quote
Guest vr6galaxy Posted February 2, 2005 Report Posted February 2, 2005 It's best to change the lot if your not sure of the age or the make of the existing anti freeze! different makes do not sometimes mix well! meaning the loss of the anti corrosion properties of the fluid! the coolant system's capacity is 8.3 or 10.1 Ltrs depending on how many heaters you have? and 11.2 Ltrs if you have an aux heater?
