Ivor_E_Tower Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 They have stolen a month! I wonder if it was because the MoT was done 6 weeks before the third birthday? Max of 4 weeks "extra grace" - if you have your first MOT done 6 weeks before the car is 3 years old, it will date from the day of the test and NOT date of first reg. Quote
GSMGuy Posted February 4, 2005 Report Posted February 4, 2005 FYI, I am talking to the supplier of mine at the mo, with a view to obtaining a better price.... If anyone is interested?? Mike Quote
Guest djjonesy Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 I had my suspisions about this but I have just checked the bulbs and someone has fitted them wrong. I can't understand why????? It's ten times more difficult to force them in wrong than to fit them in the correct slots????. Any way I fitted the bulbs correctly and there's a 1000% improvement. Only snag is I've got some of those cheap xenon bulbs coming off ebay. Oh well. Thanks for all the advice chaps Paul Jones  Quote
gazza007 Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 I'm going to order some H7 Osram's for the Dips. Is it easy to change the headlight bulbs? Quote
Ivor_E_Tower Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 Is it easy to change the headlight bulbs? Yes, very easy  Quote
gazza007 Posted February 24, 2005 Report Posted February 24, 2005 I've now replaced the dips(Glad I have small hands) with Osram Silver stars & have noticed a slight improvement. Saying that the bulbs that came out were Osrams. Also got a free set of sides. Diff with them is that more of a white light & more noticeable. Quote
seatkid Posted February 24, 2005 Report Posted February 24, 2005 Yeah, the silver stars are supposedly +50%, but the standard fit (in mine at least) were the Osram +30%. So only a marginal improvement is to be expected. Quote
