Guest curly Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 Hi Can anyone tell me where the cheapest place is to get an exhaust for my 1999 2.3 petrol??? Just cost me Quote
Guest Andy Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 I would check out all fast fit centres, all the companies and play them off against each other, and some smaller independent garages, even if you goto a small motor factors yourself and buy the parts and get the garage to fit it ... LET US KNOW HOW YOU GOT ON AND THE VARIOUS PRICES..... :( :D :D :) Quote
Guest Seth Posted June 5, 2003 Report Posted June 5, 2003 Tyres: The cheapest place is Elite Motor sport. They have all the makes and models. I used to buy from them for racing, but they do road tyres too. Based in Essex but will ship anywhere. If you need local get them to fax a quote to you for "insurance" then use this to get Quickfit to price match. For exhausts try http://www.topgear.co.uk/ I went to the St Albans branch. If they don't have a stock unit they make one up. Very good quality, choice of pipes etc. Mine cost less than a steel one from Quickfit. They build and install. I drove up left the car with them and they fitted it while I walked into town. Quote
Guest Andy Posted June 5, 2003 Report Posted June 5, 2003 KWIK-FIT do not always price match :D Quote
Guest bigaluk11 Posted July 13, 2003 Report Posted July 13, 2003 curly my tyres used to cost me 104.00 each but i found going to a little tyre shop and not getting the named brands works a treat and they last just as long 180.00 for four. i have just had to get a new cat for my exhust and that alone was 222.00 but if you can fit them yourself your better looking up a motor factors i use a company called s&c they have branches all over the country good luck Quote
