hi all, wife now fancys that black glass some models have in the rear door and rear glass windows. does that tint film do the job well or is it poo.

have seen some on ebay for

tinted glass

this is a non standard job as it's a lot darker than the factory fitted tinted glass, unless you have the time and the patience get a professional job done, that way you get a warranty and you know it's not going to peel off the first time you wind the window down :) this is a non standard job as it's a lot darker than the factory fitted tinted glass, unless you have the time and the patience get a professional job done, that way you get a warranty and you know it's not going to peel off the first time you wind the window down :D

As the comments thus far have not been of much use I'll try to help. Why not ask a dealer's parts department or glass fitting centre - The latter might be more interested as you can offer them some work fitting it - at least the rear window

The cost of replaceing all the glass with new OE spec tinted glass will be astronomical! a decent after market tint job will be round the
