mikew Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 I have a ford mondeo 1998 which I bought recently, there were no batteries in the key when I got the car, I purchased a new battery and programmed it using the method where you insert the key turn it several times then press the buttons on the key etc, it worked a treat, but then for some reason its stopped working and I'm unable to reprogram using the method I first mentioned, can anyone help. cheers, Michael Quote
Guest j_mchattie Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 Sorry, ive never done one before. But Mirez shows us how http://www.mirez.co.uk/KeyProg.htm Not sure if this it the method you followed. Quote
mikew Posted January 24, 2005 Author Report Posted January 24, 2005 yes thats the first method I used, but will not work a second time, there is another post from "new mondeo owner" giving details about unplugging a couple of connectors that are located under the dash (drivers side) but i'm unsure if this will work for me. Any one advice ? Mike Quote
