Galaxy Ghia Dvd Centre Console?

I've purchased a Galaxy ghia, but haven't picked it up and wanted to know if the centre console on the ghia has a space for a dvd player, or do you have to buy a special console for the standard ford player,

the ghia is a 2003 model and does have a 6 cd stack in the rear boot. I am looking to fit a ford dvd and have been told it goes in the centre console between the driver and passenger seat, does this sound right?

No - there is a separate rear centre console into which the dvd player fits - the console itself is NOT standard on "ordinary" Ghia models. There is normally NO rear centre console fitted.

thanks, I'll bear this in mind, presumably its a ford part that can be bought from a dealer.

The console does sit between the drivers and front passengers seat and overhangs slightly beyond and over the warm air vent behind the handbrake lever.

As Ivor says, it is not standard in any model and you only get it if you specify a multi media pack. They are available from the parts counter and when I bought mine, it cost about
