hows head gaskit , water pump, drive shaft, heater fault,smoking rear heater,tension pully,plus rattles on the dash grab ya !!! all this after only 117000 well mantained miles, dont let anyone tell me volkswagen are the best

Head gasket - Was the failure related to a failed water pump?

Tensioner - Has a 6 year 60,000 mile life expectancy. Should be changed with the timing belt. My 106,000 mile one is fine. Shame they never changed the belt either.....

Water pump - Why strip down the engine to change the timing belt and not spend an extra

Au contraire,

N/S driveshaft on my VR6 went after 80000 miles, despite the extra poke of the VR6 VW does not seem believe in beefing up the drivetrain.


Luckily I got a new driveshaft complete with both joints for only
