Masked Marauder Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 Head gasket - Was the failure related to a failed water pump? Tensioner - Has a 6 year 60,000 mile life expectancy. Should be changed with the timing belt. My 106,000 mile one is fine. Shame they never changed the belt either..... Water pump - Why strip down the engine to change the timing belt and not spend an extra Quote
