Guest j_mchattie Posted January 16, 2005 Report Posted January 16, 2005 Ive replaced my radiator. On doing so, i found a unconnected connector on the same wiring loom as the Cooling fan. There is a white lead coming from it. It looks like its never been connected to anything - ever. Any ideas as to where it goes? It must be low down, and near the cooling fan. It may be for higher spec models - but i dont know. There isnt much reach on the connector - only enough to get caught up in the fan! Thanks Quote
Guest j_mchattie Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 Correction, its on the same loom as the HEGO sensor Quote
Ivor_E_Tower Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 Probably to clip onto a second cooling fan for cars with larger engines? Does the connector look the same as the one that fits onto your one cooling fan? Quote
Guest j_mchattie Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 Sorry Ivor, its on the HEGO sensor loom, not the fan loom Quote
Ivor_E_Tower Posted January 17, 2005 Report Posted January 17, 2005 I still wouldn't worry, there are often "spare" connectors hanging off wiring looms all over the place. Quote
