Hi all

new here but need help please.

I purchases a 1998 1.9TDi Galaxy about 8 months ago.Last month we lost all power from the turbo(just wasn't kicking in at all) but after a short run it started working again.Been ok now for a couple of months.

Last night it stopped again. I have full rev range but the turbo just doesn't kick in at any gear or any revs.It will accelerate slowly to 70mph but takes forever to do so.Theres no noise from the turbo ,no oil loss etc.

Any ideas?Have done a search through the site but nothing of any help....

Thanks in advance

Grizz

p.s whats the MAF??

MAF is Mass Airflow Sensor. Don't know why you have a turbo problem; loose hose somewhere perhaps? or sticking wastegate?

..........but I would say it`s more likely to be your MAF sensor than the turbo. The turbos rarely give any trouble.
