Guest carliterature Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 Does anyone know a good source for the integrated child seats for the older style fabrics/headrests? Our 96 Ghia model is one with the beige trim and seat material that looks a bit like coral growing under the sea... well, vaguely. Don't mind used if in good condition Quote
Guest vr6galaxy Posted January 3, 2005 Report Posted January 3, 2005 If your seat fabric is the fluffy velour type then your interior trim colour is called Cassina Oyster Beige I would be very surprised if you could pick up the exact colour you want, the child seats show up every so often on Ebay so keep an eye out I have seen a couple of Blue one's in a breaker near me but the straps were all cut! and the seats had seen better days  try your local mobility vehicle converter's, when they adapt Galaxy's for wheel chairs access they remove the rear seats, they may have a few in stock for sale? Gadgetoid Posted January 4, 2005 Report Posted January 4, 2005 This company is the main source of integrated child seats on eBay: VW Audi BreakersStation approachBath RoadMelkshamWiltshireSN12 8DB E-mail: PARTS@vwaudibreakers.co.ukWebsite: www.vwaudibreakers.co.ukTelephone: 01225 792900Fax: 01225 708169 They got a job lot from a disability conversion company and had an advert on eBay every fortnight last year. I am not sure if they have any left though, but worth a try. Also all were in VW grey velour with tool pattern. However the integrated seat is much more stable than the usual Britax + 3 point seatbelt, and being able to alter the seat configuration in seconds is very useful - wouldn't be without them  Quote
