An invertor is ok, but I'm not a great lover of having 240V floating around in a 12V enviroment! especially with the way most Galaxy leak! Quote
Marky Posted January 4, 2005 Report Posted January 4, 2005 Floz, If it is the small PSOne you can buy a 12v adapter for it which will pluginto the power outlet next to the audio/video inputs. If its the originalPlaystation then its an invertor I'm afaraid. HTHMark Quote
Guest floz Posted January 4, 2005 Report Posted January 4, 2005 thanks for all the ideas, i must say that i agree that having 240v inside the cabin however small a ampage it may be is not my first choice however it is the small ps1 so if i can find where they sell the 12v adapter and audio leads i should have some very happy passengers thanks again floz. Quote
Guest garyc Posted January 6, 2005 Report Posted January 6, 2005 Hi New to the forum see your request re the ps2Last week i had the same problem bought a 12v regulator from RS and it works fine and only Quote
mawashi77 Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 If you want to connect a PSONE i suggest to check the Input low voltage if 12VDC because on mine is 7.5VDC. (French market) I bought an DC/DC seletable regulator from Uniross, it enable 6 differents Voltage selections between 1.5-12VDC, and invert +-. In that way you can use it to do something else if needed. Forget 12DC/240AC if you can have Low voltage solution.1/Because 240AC is most dangerous.2/Because Current drain/transformation lost. Quote
Marky Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 Have a look here PSOne In-car Adapter Seems a little expensive though..... Mark Quote
