Service Interval Reminder

I am sure this topic has been covered before, however I can't find it, how do I get rid of the service interval reminder on my 01 Galaxy (text one) ?? I service it myself so do not have the need for the reminder. Is there an easy way or is it a trip to the local Fraud dealer? :lol:

Make sure that you open the bonnet for a little while first, to "fool" the computer into thinking that the engine has been worked on, otherwise the reset trick may not work.

Do you have to shake your head slowly, while tutting and saying "Hmmm, this is going to cost you" - just to keep up the charade?

 

Are you also implying that the computer is intelligent -

"Open the drivers-bay door, GAL" comes to mind

Good film by the way - even if computers are electronic idiots that ask you if your sure you want to shut it down 3 times - for gods sake.
