marinabrid Posted December 12, 2004 Report Posted December 12, 2004 hi, we got the s 98 galaxy with the ford 2006r unit in, wife wants a single slot cd.just takien it out but the unit has three wireblock conns in it, two of which are used.on the spare block there are 12 terminals and a single yellow wire has been taken from the upper row middle. it appears to go to the incar phone wiring,this is aftermarket fitted for as nokia 6210.as most cds have the two iso blocks what do i do with this yellow wire ?any view thanks Quote
Guest vr6galaxy Posted December 12, 2004 Report Posted December 12, 2004 Depending on what make of head unit you put in depends on where the yellow wire goes? each maufacturer has it's own set up, on my works van I removed the OE VW gamma unit and stuck in a Kenwood Mask unit so I had to swap around the phone mute cable to suit the connection should be shown in the new units wiring diagram in the manual ?
