Write to hime recorded delivery a letter saying "I have ben advised to give you x days to make good the fault workmanship and damage to my vehicle." Then go on to explain the whole situation and finally add that whilst your car is in their 'care' you would like a courtesy Galaxy / Mondeo (you need the space). The wind up the letter by stating that failure to contact you within the next 7 days will result in court action to remedy the situation. It has worked for me on 2 occasions, one of which resulted in a 130TDi (manual yuk) for 10 weeks, managed nearly 8000 miles! whilst they sorted my Cosworth Ultima Estate.
