Guest billybug Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 Hi, My Girlfriend has a 99,S reg Ford Ka. Its done 43k and has been regularly serviced (done only a couple of mths ago!). It has also just had the tappets adjusted as well. For a while now the cars been going a bit funny when starting up from warm (intermittantly) it seems to be worse when the car has a lot of fuel in it, it takes longer to start and then misses for a bit, then is perfect. And then the other night it took a couple of tries to get it to start, but has been going fine since. We've had a scan by our local garage but the couldn't find anything wrong. Apart from this the car runs perfect, and always starts perfectly when cold, does anyone know what could cause this??? Another thing (dont know if its connected) but the back box sounds very blowey, but it had a whole new exhaust system 18mths or so ago and there aren't any holes or anything in it!
