can anyhelp

just got my cargo net at last,dont have the screw eyes and brackets

but have ordred them from fords

 

where i need the help is here

where abouts to the brackets and screw eyes go,i know its on the rear quaters

 

so any help would be great

Aha F1racer - only 1 rear power socket - is your car an import?

As to the cargo net - have a look in some dealerships; some showroom models have them fitted and I certainly would not pay

have had mine fitted now

got given the cargo net free from smc fords at datford

 

nice dealers

Ivor...most Imports have two power sockets.

 

Is yours an Import then?????

VW and Seat come with them.

 

Quite useful - if you like big bags.

Am I right to think the netting can be used either as a "hammock" to put light loads into, or as a retaining net to prevent loose items falling out of the boot when the door is opened? If so how effective is it as a load retainer, and can it be used as such whilst also being used as a "hammock"? ie when it is in hammock configuration does it reach to the floor of the boot or is it suspended above, allowing smaller objects to slip underneath?

My car is a genuine UK vehicle; seems sad that there's only 1 rear power socket now.

The net can be used as a hammock or as a restraining device to stop bits falling out when tailgate opened. When as a hammock, no it doesn't reach the floor.
