Guest Feanor Posted May 25, 2003 Report Posted May 25, 2003 F1Racer Thanks for the photos, I'm also interested in this net and wondered what it looked like. Bought separately it's about Quote
Ivor_E_Tower Posted May 25, 2003 Report Posted May 25, 2003 Aha F1racer - only 1 rear power socket - is your car an import? As to the cargo net - have a look in some dealerships; some showroom models have them fitted and I certainly would not pay Quote
Guest JIMSTDI Posted May 25, 2003 Report Posted May 25, 2003 thanks 4 the picshave had mine fitted nowgot given the cargo net free from smc fords at datford nice dealers :D Quote
Guest SA Intruder Posted May 26, 2003 Report Posted May 26, 2003 Ivor...most Imports have two power sockets. Is yours an Import then????? Quote
Guest SA Intruder Posted May 26, 2003 Report Posted May 26, 2003 VW and Seat come with them. Quite useful - if you like big bags. Quote
Guest Feanor Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 Am I right to think the netting can be used either as a "hammock" to put light loads into, or as a retaining net to prevent loose items falling out of the boot when the door is opened? If so how effective is it as a load retainer, and can it be used as such whilst also being used as a "hammock"? ie when it is in hammock configuration does it reach to the floor of the boot or is it suspended above, allowing smaller objects to slip underneath? Ivor_E_Tower Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 My car is a genuine UK vehicle; seems sad that there's only 1 rear power socket now.The net can be used as a hammock or as a restraining device to stop bits falling out when tailgate opened. When as a hammock, no it doesn't reach the floor.Hope this helps. Quote
