Guest philbell Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 hi folks, today while trying to find the solution to the dreaded wet footwells, i came across a funny thing. I loosened the arch lining off at the back of the passenger wheel and pushed my hand up the gap unfortunately the scuttle drains were clear (another story!), however i felt what appeared to be a plastic bag in the void above. After further investigation i discover that behind a rubber grommet thingy in the engine bay (just back from the battery) i could pull out a plastic bag with a piece of foam in it, stuck hand back up arch liner and there is still another bag there. the question is, what is this for? does it have a purpose? can i just throw it away?? Guest 2MPV Posted December 19, 2004 Report Posted December 19, 2004 Alarmingly, I discovered I had a mouse who made this foam into his little house. Happily he didn't develop a taste for anything else and I encouraged him out for good.... Quote
