Gteuk Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 I have a label on my visor that says there is a fuel cut of switch in the car somewhere that may need to be reset in some circumstances, its a 1996 model. Can someone tell me where that switch is I haven't got a service manual and dont feel like ripping the car apart just yet. Thanks in advance. Quote
Guest fredt Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 fuel cut of switch is located in the left-hand side footwell, behind the kick panel trim Quote
Ivor_E_Tower Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Vehicle type - Vauxhall Vectra? Does this need updating? :o Mondeo has FCO switch as per Fredt's post; shouldn't need resetting too often - set at a minimum of 6g if it has a rubberised reset "boot" on top of the switch, or 16g minimum if it has a hard red plastic button shielded by a black plastic protective ring.
