I have a label on my visor that says there is a fuel cut of switch in the car somewhere that may need to be reset in some circumstances, its a 1996 model.

Can someone tell me where that switch is I haven't got a service manual and dont feel like ripping the car apart just yet.

Thanks in advance.

fuel cut of switch is located in the left-hand side footwell, behind the kick panel trim

Vehicle type - Vauxhall Vectra? Does this need updating? :o

Mondeo has FCO switch as per Fredt's post; shouldn't need resetting too often - set at a minimum of 6g if it has a rubberised reset "boot" on top of the switch, or 16g minimum if it has a hard red plastic button shielded by a black plastic protective ring.
