Boot Cover Option

Hi All,

 

Thanks for all your help on the last question I raised. I have yet another one.

 

I am thinking of getting a boot cover for my 1997 Galaxy GLX. But looking in the back there is no locking option for the bootr cover to sit in.

 

I am being stupid or do I need something else as well as the boot cover.

You will need all the fixings and brackets requied to mount a load cover, the installation of it has been covered and IIRC the part numbers for all the parts needed have also been listed abiet from a helpfull VW dealers :blink: I got my parts from a breakers and the load cover off Ebay, it's not that big a job to cut out the holes required in the rear quarter panels as they are pre marked on the inner side of the panel, as are the rear speakers and footwell lights, so while you have the panels off go the whole hog and fit them all while your there

I have a cover from my old 2000 Galaxy which I intended to fit to my 2001 model, but never got round to it. If you make a reasonable offer for it and postage, it's yours.

Corskey - what colour is it, and do you have the fixings??

It is light grey, and th fixings are in my last galaxy
