Dvd Player Unlocking

i have a galaxy with th dvd built into the centre armrest ,when i put in copy dvds or pirate ones they come out in black and white can anyone shed any light on this

Hi,

I might be wrong but if you play copied dvd's and they play in black and white , its because it is an ntsc ( american ) region rather then a european copied disc.Copied american playstation games give the same effect and need a pal/ntsc patch added just before you burn the disc .

If your burning your own copied dvd, then look in settings to convert from ntsc to pal.

Have a look on the site link below for loads of advice on converting and also look in their forums to se if the dvd players can be unlocked

There isn't a region hack for this unit (Visteon MB8000 to answer your

other thread) but you shouldn't need one as most 'back-up'( :lol: ) DVD's

are region-free as part of the back-up process.

As Tone said earlier, if you are doing them yourself take a look at the

link he gave you, there are plenty of 'walkthrough' guides for beginners.

I've had no problems with mine..... :D :D
