Ivor_E_Tower Posted October 23, 2004 Report Posted October 23, 2004 Putting oil on it is a good way to ruin it. It should be handled with kid-gloves and kept as clean and dry as possible. Quote
delboyt Posted October 23, 2004 Author Report Posted October 23, 2004 cheers ivor any suggstion's on how to quieten the thing m8 ?perhaps it something else that's making the noise under the bonnet ? any suggestion's welcomed Quote
Ivor_E_Tower Posted October 23, 2004 Report Posted October 23, 2004 If it's been steam-cleaned I'd get the belt changed and the tensioner checked at the same time - steaming may have stretched the belt and/or affected the bearings in the tensioner (and other bits....) Quote
