Coolant Leak

I have a REALLY slow coolant leak, perhaps only a litre per 2,000 miles - but i cant find the bugger. Is there a certain part on mondeos that just 'goes'? Id like to sort it, but i cannot for the life of me find it.

 

Any help/ techniques for finding it please

try using a coloured dye so you can see where it's escaping from

Have you tried taking it to a garage for a pressure test? They attach something to the expansion tank and pump the pressure in the system up until either a leak appears or they reach so high a pressure that they confirm that there is no leak - in which case it could be a head gasket problem (did you want to know that?) Should be done for under an hour's labour charge.
