Guest trubs Posted May 12, 2003 Report Posted May 12, 2003 I have noticed that on all the Galaxys I see, we share the same problem. I have a '96 2.0i Ghia and on both front door panels the sun has deformed and melted the plastic that runs from the cloth trim to the end of the panel (inline with the side mirrors). Does anybody know how to protect the doors and also not to make it look like a bodged up job. Currenlty I have removed the door panels and used reflective duck tape to avoid the problem getting any bigger, but it looks drab. I wouls suggest that Ford for the future models re-think the design on the Front door panel and perhaps continue the cloth section all the way across from left to right to help with this problem.
