dave2 Posted May 10, 2003 Report Posted May 10, 2003 I have a 99 TDI Zetec which had the cheapest Panasonic radio I have ever seen. I have now fitted a up market model. Although I suspect some nice chap at the Ford Garage swopped it before the car was offered for sale. My car does not have a live feed, thats on when the the ignition is set at accessories or engine is running. I have to manually switch the set of when I leave the car.Does anyone else have this problem, cos I cant believe that Ford have not fitted such a standard feature in such a expensive car.The original radio had to be turned off manually too, which seemed a little strange. Guest SA Intruder Posted May 10, 2003 Report Posted May 10, 2003 From memory... The permanant live feed is the thicker of two RED wires. The switched live is Brown with a RED trace. Quote
