Guest windy Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 I've recently bought a 2002 (52) Galaxy 1.9TDi. The (private) seller advertised it as a 130PS. I'm perfectly happy with its performance (6-speed manual). But how do I tell for sure whether its a 130PS or a 115PS? Quote
Guest fredt Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 most common tell tail sign is the colour of the TDI badge on the tail gate  otherwise contact your local dealer and give them the VIN and reg number and they should be able to tell you what output it is Quote
Another?Maybe! Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 Also, engine configuration under the bonnet is different for the 130ps from the other diesels. (or maybe it's just the plastic cover which goes over the engine!) Anyway, have a look in the handbook in the 'engines' section.... is a diagram there for each of the engines used which should make it all clear... that's if you have a handbook of course..... see other posts! iainkirk Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 I don't think they introduced 130PS at 52 reg? Quote
italiastar Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 They introduced it on the 2003 models (on sale from sept 2002 ??) on the SEAT Alhambra SE models - not sure about Ford. Quote
