Guest grello42 Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 OK, I'm not vein :D but the missus is... :D The Galaxy brochure states that the Ghia comes with driver and passenger sunvisors with mirrors, covers and illumination. Unless I'm missing something, there is no illumination on my sunvisors. :D And it's allegedly a bang-up-to-date spec; it has the rear roof-mounted air vents, for example. Is there a hidden light/switch somewhere or have I been mislead by the brochure? What do you lovely peeps think? Ta ever so. Quote
Davetheref Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 My 53 Ghia has them. It has a sliding cover over the mirror and when that is slid over, a small light that is in the roof, above the visor comes on. Quote
Guest grello42 Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 Thanks Dave We have the slidy cover thing but there's no light in the roof above them, as far as I can see. It should be obvious, I guess? I know they changed the spec in Nov 2003 but I can't understand why they would delete this feature. Has anyone else just bought a new Ghia that could help with this little mystery? TIA Quote

MrT Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 Mine are built into the visor and when you open the hinged flap covering the mirror on the visor the lights come on. Quote
