AMacdonald Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 It's a general purpose indication of a fault. Last time I saw it my compressor had failed. Quote
Guest cotch Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 B) B) :D :D Good News my wife said she had smelt an electrical burning before the air con packed in, check fuses one of which a 25W 32V was broken replaced fuse Air con back on. Dont know what caused the fuse to blow and while it is working I don't care :D :D :D Quote
davec Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 i had aircon service which included oil to lubricate compressor, might be that seizing causing fuse to blow a light oil might save you a big bill Quote
Guest fredt Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 25W 32V.................... which fuse was that? Quote
Guest cotch Posted September 17, 2004 Report Posted September 17, 2004 I'm no nothing about the fuses but it was located in the main fuse panel under the steering wheel, very top row, could not find a 25W 32V replacement so replaced it with a 20W 12V as this fuse is a lower rating it should blow earlier if needed. The compressor was changed 6 months ago so it was serves oiled and gassed then. Quote
