It looks like the galaxy is already set up for these to operate but the system has been disabled, the handbook shows a fuse for them (number 58 i think) Any ideas Cheers Phil Quote
Guest fredt Posted September 13, 2004 Report Posted September 13, 2004 You will also need a relay (K5) and the correct wiring loom for the head lights, in the loom is a restance wire that drops the amperage to the dipped beam lamps and causes them to run at a lower brightness than normal, it may be possible to add the DDL'S by adding the relay and running your own wire to the dipped lamps with the correct size resistor in the circuit if the wire is not already installed? the resistor is 2 ohms and later when I get the chance I will dig out the wiring diagram and see if thats for both lamps or just one?
