Guest MickeyMo Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 I have a 1995 2.0 GLX Galaxy and have been told by the dealer that the relay has burnt out that unlocks the back door along with the other 4 doors. The dealer when asked where the relay needed to be replaced, told me that it was awkward and that I would have to book it in to be done. Can any one tell me where it is located? Quote
Guest fredt Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 its under the front passenger seat, slide the seat forward and remove the flap/cover, under there is the central locking/courtesy light/global closure ECU the big black box :D and the small black box next to that is the load reduction relay for the rear hatch Quote
djacks42 Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 Before you go ordering a new relay, check the other standard problem.. pull back the rubber boot at the top right of the tailgate. If you see an orange/white wire that is broken - that will be your root cause. Remove D-pillar interior trim to gain access to chop in a new length. I fixed my rear lock in this way at the w/e. Quote
