Pocketpc (and Other) Satnav Solutions

As there's a bit of discussion going on about SatNav and GPS Speed Camera software, I thought I'd post a picture of my installation:

 

It's a Viewsonic V35 with a Haicom GPS receiver (sitting behind it in the front side window), running TomTom Navigator 3 and TrafCam software. The suction mount cost me

Thats a tidy looking fitting, however I like to drive with my window open and would be worried about a hand reaching in a nicking my bit of kit, Ive seen it done, passenger side too, mobile phone gone. :unsure:

Being a sneezer, I never drive with the driver's window open! That's what the climate control and pollen filter are for! I I have a window open, it would be ne of the other 5.

Also small GPS recevier under tax disc, thin aerial stuck to windscreen alongside passenger's pillar and small microphone fitted to headlining next to rear-view mirror. Amazing what you can win for free these days! Not sure how I'm going to afford the annual subscription when I have to start paying though.....
